Bargaining Update

BARGAINING UPDATE #6

For the week ending October 11, 2019

Your UAW Local 6000 bargaining team has come to a Tentative Agreement with the State on a 2 year agreement for wages and benefits covering Fiscal Year 2021 and Fiscal Year 2022 (beginning October 1, 2020).

The agreement includes wage increases in both years. In addition the Union negotiated improved Health Care, Vision Care, and Dental benefits, with no increase in deductibles, no increase in co-pays, and no increase in insurance premium share percent.

The membership will have the final say on the contract as you, the membership, will be voting on this. There is no time frame yet for the voting.

Full details will be explained in building and district meetings that will be scheduled around the state over the next month or two. In addition, full details will be included with the ballot that all UAW Local 6000 members will receive during the voting process.

If there are any other updates, they will be posted on the Local 6000 web site (www.uawlocal6000.org) and the Local 6000 hotline (800-321-0829).
