The Uplift Project

 We would like to cordially invite you to the Inaugural Uplift Project: Empowering the Next Generation of African American Leaders. This conference will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at UAW Region 1A in Taylor, Michigan.

The Uplift Project was created to have an Impact on the world through Education and Activism in our communities. Participants will have the honor of learning from speakers such as, UAW International President Rory L. Gamble and International President of Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLUW) Elise Bryant, along with other dynamic leaders in the movement. There will be an open panel discussion with various union activist from all levels of Labor & Community.

Traveling Delegates will have plenty of lodging opportunities in the Taylor/Southgate area. Uplift Conference Coordinators, have arranged a block of rooms for delegates to the conference.
